I build websites for people who are brilliant at what they do but don't have the time — or the patience — to wrestle with the web. Cafés, trades, studios, small firms: the businesses that hold a high street together.
Big agencies over-charge and disappear. Cheap builders hand you a slow template and a headache. I sit in the gap: studio-quality work, one person to talk to, and a site that actually loads.
I care a lot about the small stuff — how fast a page feels, how a button responds, whether it works for someone using a keyboard or a screen reader. That craft is the difference between a site that looks fine and one that earns trust.

How much does a website cost?
It depends on the size and what it needs to do — a simple, sharp site for a small business is typically a few hundred to a couple of thousand pounds. Everything is quoted up front as a fixed price, so there are no surprises, and the first conversation is always free.
How long does it take?
Most websites run two to four weeks from first chat to launch day. It partly depends on how quickly content and feedback come back from your side — I'll give you a clear timeline in the proposal before any work starts.
Do I need to write the content and provide photos?
No — I'll help. I write the words that pull their weight and can guide the imagery; good photos of your own work always help, and I can point you to great stock or arrange a shoot if needed. You're never left staring at a blank page.
Will my site show up on Google?
Yes — every site I build is fast, clean and structured for search, with local SEO baked in so nearby customers find you. Ranking still takes a little time as Google gets to know a new site, but you'll be starting from a genuinely strong technical footing.
Do you host it and look after it afterwards?
I can, yes. Hosting is fast and inexpensive, and a simple care plan covers updates, small changes and a person who actually answers when something needs attention — so your site stays quick and current while you get on with the business.
Where are you based, and do you work remotely?
I'm based in Yorkshire and work with small businesses across the UK. Most projects run smoothly over email and a couple of video calls, so where you are is rarely a barrier — and if you're local, I'm always happy to meet.
